Omega-3 fatty acids found in fish are being shown to be a great ally in the fight against aging. The fatty acids are amazing for the skin and will help keep it soft and moisturized longer. They are also showing promising benefits in their affects on the brain function as well. So go ahead and have more Salmon in your diet.

Vitamin C is great for aging skin. It helps skin to keep its healthy glow by fighting against damaging sun rays, alcohol, smoke and other pollutants that harm the skin. It also have strong antioxidant properties which lowers the appearance of the skin’s age spots and helps firm up the skin.

Keeping mentally active will help one to age gracefully. Mental activities take longer as we grow older, but just like a muscle, the brain can be kept fit with activity. Some popular pastimes which encourage mental activity are suduko and crossword puzzles. Doing a puzzle a day can keep brain fog away.

If you want to keep aging at bay, work on your health! Ask your doctor what you could be doing to be in better condition, from adding more moderate exercise to your schedule to reducing your sodium or refined sugar intake. No one can help your health more than you, so take action.
